Richard K. Newman, CCN Managing Member
Richard K. Newman formed Commercial Capital Network (CCN) in 2004 to offer nationwide access to commercial mortgage loan programs that accommodate the unique financial needs of bed and breakfast and hospitality industries. CCN provides direct access to SBA and Conventional programs.
Mr. Newman, managed InterBay Funding’s New Jersey sales operations from 2001 to 2004. InterBay Funding, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bayview Financial in Miami, FL and its sister company Silver Hill Financial operated nationally and offered conventional and stated commercial loan programs to small business owners.
In late 2001, Mr. Newman re-affiliated his Title Insurance Produce’s License once more with Chicago Title Insurance Company.
From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Newman served as executive vice president and member of the board of directors of New Jersey Title Insurance Company, Parsippany, New Jersey. As head of sales and marketing and creator of the agency program, Mr. Newman was responsible for redirecting the core business strategies away from direct operations to agencies. He successfully negotiated the sale and merger of the company’s New Jersey branch operations. Mr. Newman discovered and presided over the acquisition of a popular title process and closing software company WinTitle currently operating as SnapClose.
In 1991 Mr. Newman formed Weichert Title Agency, in Moorestown, NJ. This statewide agency was the first to utilize a licensing concept he developed to successfully navigate the affiliated business regulations of HUD and the Department of Banking and Insurance.
In 1985 Mr. Newman formed Guardian Title Agency in Princeton, NJ where he presided over the operations and sales and marketing. Guardian Title was later merged with New Jersey Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Newman’s early years in the real estate and title industry included a two year association with Fidelity Abstract, where he paved the way for its start up operations in Linwood NJ. In 1976 he began his apprentice sales position with Chicago Title Insurance Company, Cherry Hill, NJ where he was principally charged with the company’s relationships with local attorneys.
Mr. Newman’s involvement with the title insurance industry was preceded by his studies in sculpture at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
